A new blog review
January 29, 2009 by ojeofms8
The blog I saw had a mythbusters video on it. If you would like to watch it then go here. This episode of MythBusters asks the question, can a person’s voice break glass? The MythBusters believe this will help aide use in their future investigations of their science experiments.
I like the show Mythbusters but this blog also has the weather information and more. So, this blog is very cool and I would tell my friends, family and teachers to go on it. I know my blog is about cars. But, when I saw this blog I thought it was a different. It also included another one of my favorite subjects, Science.

Blog review
January 29, 2009 by ojeofms8
If you what to see the site I got my blogs from just press HERE.
The guy that made this blog tells people whast happening and why. The first blog he wrote about is the Michigan International Speedway. The speedway gave him a good deal on the tickets. Some of the things he said that they did was reduced ticket prices, new grand stands with wider seats, more legroom, and seats with backs, new public address system around the track and under the grandstands, faster exit traffic flow. (like that would help traffic) The best they did was $40.00 tickets with children under 12 free! He was so happy he took his son to the race.
The second blog he did was about Joe Gibbs Dumps Interstate Batteries Sponsor. He said that Coach Gibbs wrecked the Interstate Batteries car. If you would like to watch it press here. Then, he said that the drivers did a bad stunt with the cars. But, the drivers did not plan it that way.

The last blog was about why some drivers are going back to their original teams. One reason it could be is that the economy stinks. “There are teams that are still listing drivers for their cars for cryin’ out loud!” Here are some that are going back or some that are starting there own team.
- Mark Martin is now back full-time in the 5 car
- Casey Mears is now in the RCR 07 car
- Clinton Bowyer is in the new RCR 33 car with no owner points
- Aric Almirola is in the unsponsored 8 car committed to drive the full year with EGR (Earnhardt Ganassi
Racing)
- Regan Smith is in the 78 car which is running a limited Sched this year
- Joe Nemechek is racing his own stuff this year and is going to try and make all the races
- AJ Allmendinger was in the 19 car and then out and is now in the 44 car, which used to be the 10 car, for a handful of races until a big sponsor is found
- Elliott Sadler was out of the 19 and then back in it
- Scott Speed is now in the 82 Red Bull car which used to be the 84 car
- Tony Stewart is out of the 20 car and in his own 14 car
- Joey Logano is now in the 20 car
- Ryan Newman is out of the 12 and is now in the Stewart owned 39 car
- David Stremme is now in the 12
- Bobby Labonte is out of the 43 car and now in the 96 car
- Reed Sorenson is now in the 43 car (I think)
- David Gilliland looks like he is out of the 38 car now because the owner points will probably be moved to the 96 car – Must remember, if I have my own sponsor I can go anywhere
- Speaking of which Paul Menard brings his own sponsor to Yates Racing and leaves the 15 car behind and is now in the 98 car using the 28′s owner points
- Travis Kvapil is reportedly in the 28 car with now owner points but at this point I’m so confused he could be in the 88 car for all I know
- Tommy Baldwin started his own team and now has Scott Riggs as his driver and I don’t know the car number either – 30-something I think
- David Reutimann is out of the 44 car and is now in the 00 car for MWR
- Michael McDowell is out of the 00 car and is now … hmm … I don’t really know
- Oh ya, Marcos Ambrose is in the 47(?) car driving for the Wood Brothers – who’s in the 21?
- Now Chad McCumbee had a deal with PE before the merger with GEM to form RPM and now I don’t even know if he has a ride – maybe he can a job as a Dale Earnhardt Jr look-a-like in a movie or something if there is no ride for him
- Bill Elliott, Boris Said, Sterling Marlin, Patrick Carpentier, Jacques Villeneuve, Max Papis, Ward Burton, Carl Long, Kenny Schrader, Stanton Barrett, David Gilland, and anyone else (?) still don’t have rides yet

How to learn about nascar
January 29, 2009 by ojeofms8
One way a student can learn about NASCAR is that you can go directly to this website. Another way to learn about NASCAR is to watch it on the speed channel. A fast way to learn about the drivers are to google NASCAR drivers. Once you find a driver you like, go back to google and type in their name. There is a ton of information on every driver on hundreds of websites.

Thank you the freewheeling Daredevil for this picture.
If you like to go to the library, their are several books written about each driver. Several of the drivers have their own autobiography. One that comes to mind is “Dale Earnhardt, Jr.” written in 2002 while he was driving the Budweiser car. While your at the library you can also check out the history of NASCAR. Its fun to look at all the old pictures and how the cars use to look.

Thank you blu blue for this picture.
I think NASCAR has affected kids today who enjoy cars and racing. Kids can spend time with their family and friends while watching the many weekend races. They also can learn and share their interest in cars.

Introduction

Hello,
I’m the Jthan20. I live in the Chicago suburbs. I think you should read my blog because I share the some interest in all the drivers. I’m going to have the updates to the drivers and what they are doing next year. I will have videos on the drivers being interviewed.
Give credit to Tequilamike. Attribution 2.0 Generic. So, I will Have the updates on the drivers. This are two how the driver the one on the top is tony Stewart the bottom is Jeff Gordon. They both won ten races each.
I picked this topic because NASCAR is very exciting. NASCAR is about drivers racing around and around the track. They do speeds over 200 miles per hour and race to the finish line. Its fun to cheer for your favorite driver and boo the driver you don’t like. Afterwards, its fun to listen to all the drivers being interviewed.
